When will my mail order steak arrive in the mail? - The day your order is received it will be hand-cut fresh and shipped via UPS 2-Day Air.
Can I pick up my order at your meat locker? - Yes, please do come in to the meat locker if you live close and would like to enjoy a drive to Northeast Nebraska!
Is shipping free if I come and pick up my meat or cheese order from your meat locker? - Yes, if you order from us online shipping will be charged, but only as a deposit until you come into the meat locker to pick up your meat or cheese order. A shipping reimbursement or coupon for future purchase will be issued to you at the store. * An additional 5% will be taken off your next order if you choose the coupon option. **If you plan on coming in to pick up your order you will need to contact us immediately once the order has been placed to let us know to place a hold on the order and to schedule a time for pick-up.
Are your products vacuum sealed? How does the meat stay fresh during the mail order process after you ship the product to my home or business? - All of our products are vacuumed sealed and flash frozen immediately; packed in dry ice and shipped via UPS 2-Day Air to ensure freshness when it arrives at your door.
My steak arrived in the mail, can I re-freeze it? - Yes, when you receive your steak, meat, or cheese order in the mail it may be partially thawed. You may choose to prepare the steak right away on the grill for example or put it in the freezer to re-freeze. It will be safe to cook when you are ready to grill the steak on another day if you keep it in the freezer.
